Isn't there a potential security risk to having a profile?
Probably, so whilst it's easy to hide your profile from public view at any time. . . . if you are in Witness Protection, hiding from an Ex or are just chicken overly cautious then we're probably not for you. . .
Can’t I just tell people about my vehicle?
Yes you can, if you want to stand next to your car all the time explaining the ins and outs of every part of your vehicle until your voice is horse and your wife/husband/partner is bored to tears, be my guest. The QR code is for the rest of us in the 21st century. People scan the sticker, see the full profile with photos specs or whatever you choose to put on it, while you're away having a burger.
Can I hide my profile when I'm away from the track/car show etc?
Yes no problem, anytime you want.
Can I have more than one photo in my profile?
Yes, once you create your vehicle's profile (where you can add one image) you can then edit your profile and add as many images as you wish.
I want to change the order of my images?
Just click on edit for the main profile or whichever category you want to change the order of the images and you can drag and drop them into whichever order you want.
How do the categories work?
As well as the main profile you can add unlimited number of categories to give more detail about each aspect of your vehicle.
What about having images for each category?
Yes, just upload them when you create/edit a category.
I've purchased a sticker but the image on it is printed back to front?
If the sticker you ordered is to be placed on the inside of the window then it is deliberaterly printed back to front so it appears the right way round when viewed from the outside.
Can I place my sticker in the windscreen?
To avoid safety issues we do not recommend placing the sticker on the windscreen. However, if you do wish to place it on the windscreen be certain that it doesn't obscure the drivers view and that it meets the national rules for your country.
I have tinted windows will that affect the readability of my qr code?
The qr code relies on a phone camera to be able to scan the qr code so if your windows are tinted it is possible that will affect the reaability of the qr code. test it with another qr code first or but a sticker that sticks to the outsiode of the window.
I've sold my vehicle and bought a different one, why do I need a new qr code?
The whole search thing for your profile is based on your numberplate and country of registration. . . Change your numberplate/country you'll need a new qr code which is automatically generated if you change your numberplate on the profile. All you have to do is download the qr code/buy another window sticker
I've changed my numberplate to a private one, why do I need a new qr code?
See the above answer. .
Why has my qr code has stopped working?
If you haven't changed the numberplate or country of your profile (see last 2 answers above), it is probably either the qr code isn't reading correctly (smudged/damaged or dirty windscreen if its stuck inside) or your internet is down
My vehicle isn't road registered, can I still create a profile?
Yes, no problem. In the Country drop down just select "Not Road Registered (NRR)" Then enter a nickname for your vehicle in the Numberplate input
My make of vehicle isn't listed in your drop down, what do I do?
No problem. In the Make drop down just select "Make Not Listed" (at the top) and you'll be able to type in the name of your vehicle's manufacturer.
My email verification link has expired, what should I do?
If you login to your profile you'll be directed to a page where you can request a new email link
I've been a dick and entered my email with a typo when I registered?
We refer you to Rule 1 above. But, you can just login in to your account and in the drop down menu (top left) click on "My Details" and you can edit your email to correct the typo. And yes a new verification email will be sent to the corrected email address.
